Since moving to our new location in the late 1980's,
Detroit Radiant Products has evolved into a world class
manufacturer of gas-fired infra-red heaters. We
are extremely proud of the many local, national and
industry awards and recognitions received through the

Since 1989, Detroit Radiant Products has received local
recognition for our efforts to present an attractive and
environmentally friendly presence in the community. |
Detroit Radiant Products is a longtime
member of the Gas Appliance Manufacturer's
Association (GAMA), the key association in setting standards and
handling affairs in the Gas Appliance Industry. |
Detroit Radiant Products is a longtime member of the
National Propane Gas Association (NPGA), the
key association in setting standards and handling
affairs in the Propane Gas Industry. |
Detroit
Radiant Products is also a longtime member of the
Michigan Manufacturer's Association (MMA), an
organization which established the standards for
Michigan based manufacturing companies. |

In 1991, the American Gas Association (AGA) accredited the on-site
testing facility of Detroit Radiant Products. This
distinguished endorsement allows for on-site testing and
product certification. |
In 1992 the United States Patent Office issued our
HL Series patent
#5-353-986. This patent
recognized a true innovation in our industry,
resulting in significant changes in the design and
application of infra-red heating technology. |
In 2004, the United States Patent Office issued our
HLV series patent
#6-786-422. This patent
extended our proprietary two-stage technology to
include our HLV series - an advanced, engineered vacuum
system. |
All products manufactured by Detroit Radiant
Products are Design Certified to meet standards set
by the North American Standards Association (CSA),
Underwriter's Laboratory (UL) or Certificate of
Europe (CE). |

validated the true energy saving benefits of two-stage

Our RVA series heaters were awarded a place in the
Agricultural Engineering "Top-50" list "For
Outstanding Innovations in Product or System
Technology 1996". |
Our first CFQ1 award by W.W. Grainger for our
performance as a top supplier. This award is
presented to suppliers with the highest marks in
performance, value, quality, delivery and support. |

In 2003 the AHR Committee presented Detroit Radiant
Products an Honorable Mention Award for our
innovative HLV Vacuum Series. This award was
presented for the advanced feature design of our HLV
series. |
In June 2004, the AHR Committee presented its'
distinguished "Best Poster Presentation Award" to our
business associate RDM Engineering. This award
was presented to RDM Engineering for their work in a
joint study documenting the energy saving benefits
of two-stage gas-fired infra-red heaters.
